HDMI 1.4
HDMI基于DVI（ Digital Visual Interface）制定，适合在数码电视、DV播放机、机顶盒以及其他数码视听产品中使用。在保持高品质的情況下能夠以数码形式传输未经压缩的高解析度视频和多声道音频资料。最高资料传输速度为5Gbps。由于在该规格中将音频和视频信号均载入到一根电缆线上，因此不像现有类比方式的视听缆线那样需要拉多条线。HDMI中采用了适合在数码可携式摄像机上使用的小型介面。另外，还支援家电产品业內团体 Consumer Electronics Association（CEA）的标准规格EIA CEA-861x。
